Copper Colored American Indians on the Peninsula
We are the the Accawmacke Indians of the Accawmacke Kingdom of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We are 1607 First contact people of America who are the respectful kin of the Powhatan Chiefdom but independent and free. We are forensic Historic researchers and expose the Historical Inaccuracies promoted by Greed and Land Theft.
The Accawmacke Indians are part of the Powhatan Confederacy. Across the bay from the Tsenacommacah region ruled by Wahunsenacawh in the 1600‘s also known as King Powhatan. Accawmacke Indians also fall under the umbrella of the Cherokee nation. Accawmacke Indians often referred to themselves as Cherokee and spoke our own dialect a Algonquin / Cherokee. Accawmacke Indians paid tributary to King Powhatan but were not controlled or protected by the confederacy.
Contrary to Historical Miseducation We Sailed and conducted trade Internationally. Some Accawmacke as Edmund Bagwell spoke English and travelled to Barbados, England and New England to Trade. The First Immigrants we encountered in America including John Smith had brown skin not white complexions. Very few white Europeans were in America In the early 1600 and 1700's. The Revolution is when all Europeans united and showed up to divide and conquer North America's Indigenous Negro Indians. Please note that Europe did not divide and conquer Africa until much later in with the 1884 Berlin Conference. They had not explored Africa until Quinine was discovered to treat Malaria. Also note that if Millions of African Slaves had been Transported to America they would have transported the Malaria problem.

Ben Franklin's thoughts on the horrors of the US being overrun by German immigrants:
[W]hy should the Palatine Boors be suffered to swarm into our Settlements, and by herding together establish their Language and Manners to the Exclusion of ours? Why should Pennsylvania, founded by the English, become a Colony of Aliens, who will shortly be so numerous as to Germanize us instead of our Anglifying them, and will never adopt our Language or Customs, any more than they can acquire our Complexion.
Which leads me to add one Remark: That the Number of purely white People in the World is proportionably very small. All Africa is black or tawny. Asia chiefly tawny. America (exclusive of the new Comers) wholly so. And in Europe, the Spaniards, Italians, French, Russians and Swedes, are generally of what we call a swarthy Complexion; as are the Germans also, the Saxons only excepted, who with the English, make the principal Body of White People on the Face of the Earth. I could wish their Numbers were increased. And while we are, as I may call it, Scouring our Planet, by clearing America of Woods, and so making this Side of our Globe reflect a brighter Light to the Eyes of Inhabitants in Mars or Venus, why should we in the Sight of Superior Beings, darken its People? why increase the Sons of Africa, by Planting them in America, where we have so fair an Opportunity, by excluding all Blacks and Tawneys, of increasing the lovely White and Red? But perhaps I am partial to the Complexion of my Country, for such Kind of Partiality is natural to Mankind.
